Explore the maze of mock orange hedges (where we hold our annual Easter Egg Hunt) to reach the rose-rimmed gazebo. Then follow the curved path of stepping stones across the lawn and examine the citrus trees and huge pummelo fruit (ancestor of the grapefruit). Or look at the native ohia trees with their red lehua blossoms and pink pubescent young leaves. It's a garden of scents: pungent herbs and cyprus, perfumed roses and sweet citrus.
