We've created waterfalls, meandering streams, and serene ponds for your enjoyment. Kids love to look for koi and tadpoles in the Lily Pond, and are surprised to discover the map of the Hawaiian Islands sitting in the water. Surrounding the map are Polynesian introductions important to early Hawaiians--taro, sugar cane, banana, coconut, kukui, wauke, noni and ti.
The sound of splashing water fills the annual garden - from waterfalls framed by bamboo, to a quarter-mile-long stream lined with flowers, to the Duck Pond. There are four footbridges over the water, where you may catch a view of the endangered Hawaiian stilts who sometimes grace us with a visit.
